The conference The Use of R in Official Statistics – uRos2024, will be held on 27 – 29 November 2024,
in Athens – Greece as an onsite event. The conference is jointly organized by the Hellenic Statistical Authority
(ELSTAT), the National Institute of Statistics of Romania together with traditional
partners: Ecological University of Bucharest, Statistics Netherlands
(CBS) and Statistics Austria. The purpose of the conference is to provide a public forum for researchers
from academia and statistical institutes to present, exchange ideas and
discuss developments in state-of-the-art statistical software commonly used
in applied economics and statistics, focusing mainly on the use of R in
